Book Club

This is not what I original planned on wearing to book club tonight, earlier today when I went outside to bring the garbage can up from the street I noticed it was cooler and a bit breezy. Later when I was outside with the kids I realized I was wrong it was still hot and muggy out, therefore I could not bring myself to put my capris and wedges on as originally planned.

My Mom Pants

This week has been rough!! My husband left for the week for work and the first night out of the gate the little Boy is up sick. So on Tuesday I went to the pediatricians office just to be told that it's a virus nothing they can do to just keep alternating between Motrin and Tylenol UGH!! This is what I wore, but don't get to attached to this shirt later that day the the boy fell and cut his head open. Blood everywhere I had to make the decision on what to do go back to his doctor, go to Urgent Care or go to the ER. I ended up calling the pediatricians office explaining I was just there, they took a look at it for me and cleaned him up, and even though I pride myself on being able to get out those tough stains these blood stains might be more then I can handle.

Now you see how my Tuesday went, Wednesday I spent around the house doing laundry and even cheated at dinner and ordered from a local deli, therefor no outfit. Thursday I was ready to get back to normal got everyone up on time for school and me dressed for my morning run. Until the girl, who is old enough to handle things better, missed the bus. So I had to load the baby into the car and take the older one to school. Unfortunately things went down hill from there luckily at least there was no blood this time but I never made it out of my gym clothes nothing special but here they are.

This morning I noticed the milk was out I swear to you this never happens to me I am usually better organized, I knew I was getting close and was trying to stretch it into one big commissary trip. So I got dressed and headed to the base, I didn't plan it but I noticed that I was wearing the same shorts as I wore on Tuesday so i guess they are officially my "Mom Pants".

Family Time

The weather this morning was foggy, something we have not experienced much of since moving here to Alabama. The Husband will be gone all next week for work so we decided to skip church and have some much needed family time! A little lunch at my favorite downtown barbecue joint and maybe walking through the boutiques by the river, I know there will defiantly be ice cream involved though!

Bunco

Headed out to play bunco with the spouses. Incase you didn't know bunco is a very easy dice game, not sure if it is a popular party game outside the military or not. Anyway this is what I am wearing and I am bringing chips and homemade salsa.

 I have been under the weather here fighting off a cold and to put it simple a mess. I haven't really done anything that wasn't a must around the house and I am paying for that today. So I am getting an early start this morning, we are headed to story time at the library and then my neighbor says target has some great clearance and you know I can't turn that down.

Perfectly Polished Party

Finally starting to feel like fall! At least in the early morning and evenings right? Rushed Day of Catch Up

OK So vacation DID NOT go as planned, a hurricane and fowl weather in general derailed our plans majorly. We still had a great time down in Orlando, but unfortunately I did not get many pictures of what I wore.
We ended up leaving the house in a flurry so when we returned Monday night things were just as we left them in our hurried state. Tuesday was my catch up day and I was rushed and frazzled half the day, getting dressed and snapping a picture was no exception!

Disney World

So Disney is super tricky for me to dress for. On one hand I want to be comfortable and able to go all day in what I am wearing, on the other hand I want to look good in my vacation pictures. Therefore I came up with these items for comfort, basic shorts, comfortable Tee, Sneakers and added a necklace for style. Disney world Park outfit.
